Scuba Scene dive club was set up for those divers that want to be able to enjoy a social side to their diving. We meet the first Sunday of every month at The Lamb Inn in Weare (on A38) around 7.30pm. As a club diver you can join us on a Sunday evening at Wells Cathedral School pool in Wells between 5.30-6.30pm for pool practise

Or St James Pool on a Wednesday evening in Taunton between 9-10pm for pool practise/courses

Dive Club Membership
Over the past 12 months we have operated a dive club within Scuba Scene on an informal basis and are pleased to see club member numbers increasing all the time. We wish to continue offering the diverse range of dive trips that we have worked hard to establish in recent months but have needed to subsidise. Introducing a membership system will enable us to do this and still reward those divers making a commitment to us.

During September 2008 club membership benefits will begin and we will be encouraging divers to sign up to maximize potential savings. If you choose not to be a member you can still dive with us but at non member pricing on trips, courses and kit hire. We have two levels of membership to allow you to decide what would best suit your needs

If one member of family has gold membership – all other dive members of same family (at same address) only pay for Bronze but get benefits of Gold.

From 1st September 08 we will display two prices on all trips, holidays and pool sessions. To get member pricing you must be a paid member of the Scuba Scene club or a member of the Dive Team. 

We will continue to add to the benefits of club membership over the following months and hope that you will agree with us that the formalising of membership is worthwhile.

We run regular trips both within the UK and overseas. Check the trip list below to see whats going on. We also run regular activities for non divers so the whole family can get involved and meet the dive crew.

You can also purchase an air card which gets you 10 fills for your cylinders saving yourself £10 an individual fill price.

10l - normally £3.50 a fill or 10 fills for £25

12l - normally £4.00 a fill or 10 fills for £30

15l - normally £4.50 a fill or 10 fills for £35

17th October 09- Lundy - Dive the Lundy isle in Bristol Channel. Trip full reserve list only.

24th October 09 - West Bay - See above for further details. Cost £55 (non member) £45 (member) for two dives - minimum certification level applies. 10 places

22nd November 09 - Burton Bradtock- Depending on the weather we will head down to the coast for a couple of dives. The depth is aroun max of 8m so great for all level of divers and will probably the last trip to the coast this year. So why not come on down Unlimited places
